Groom Speeches Ideas
When it comes to groom speeches on your big day, sometimes you need to consider the bride and groom speeches together.
For me and my now wife, we didn’t want to ruin the day by writing out speeches together. But we did think that it would be a good idea to have a site down and figure out the direction we wanted our wedding speeches to go in so as not to be too far apart.
Who Says What?
When it comes to any most kinds of speeches, whether the groom wedding speech or the father of groom speech, it can really help to get your stories straight and make sure that each speech isn’t repeating the others. This is why discussing bride and groom speeches ideas with your future wife is a good idea.
Not all bride and grooms do their speeches separately. Maybe only one of you is doing a speech, or perhaps you want to address your guests together! If you haven’t decided then have a good discussion before moving onto the next steps but don’t leave it too late.
The Perfect Speeches
Once you’ve decided it can be a good idea to talk to your future bride and ask whether she’s preparing a bride speech. The chances are that you will both have a few ideas of the same, like telling stories of how you met and what you’ve done since getting together.
One option is to agree on covering different topics. One other option is to both cover the story of how you got together – but from different each point of view. This can make for exciting, even very funny, yet still excellent groom speeches that your guests will just love!
Finding a bride and groom speech together isn’t always done, but I think sharing some ideas and still trying to keep the speeches private until your wedding can be really great. Better still, check out some speech examples to really help your speech be what you want it to be!
